Envisioning What God Has Next For Our Church

Directions are important. Having directions helps us get from where we are to where we want to go. We naturally think of them for driving, but having good directions for where we want to go in life is beneficial as well. That is true for individuals and organizations, and even churches.

As a church we want to be sure we know where we are going, and how to get there. If we don’t at a minimum have an idea of where God is calling us to, and how we get there, we will wander or get lost until the church no longer exists. That is not a place that Columbus Free Methodist wants to be, so we are making a point to have a foundation of who we are in Jesus and a vision for where God is calling us to in the future.

That is where our church’s Vision Plan comes in. You will find two documents with this post that share our five year Vision Plan. One is our comprehensive Vision Plan that unpacks what we feel God is calling us too, and the other is a consolidated version of that plan. Both documents say the same thing, the Vision Plan just has more details.

We would love to talk with you about our church’s Mission and Vision if you have questions, and we would encourage you to check out our February 2021 sermon series that starts to unpack our Mission and Vision.
